We Are Up And Running Again!

Hello guys and welcome to the second post on our precious website. Hopefully, in the next couple of weeks, we will have more content published here. Until then, I suppose you will have to be satisfied with this formal announcement from the top management of Choices We Make.

If you did not know, all 3 of our offices in Denver were closed in recent weeks. More precisely, the offices were closed on Tuesday, 11th of April. The reason is, of course, one of the biggest Christian holidays – Easter. We would be a terrible organization if we would let our staff work during their well-deserved holidays.

Howevereaster, that’s not the only holiday we were closed on. You see, at the time of writing this post (22nd of April), none of our offices have been opened. Why is that, you may wonder. Well, our dearest staff had a huge meeting on Monday, 10th of April. That is when we came to an agreement that we’re not only going to celebrate Easter but 4/20 as well.

While this might seem like a disturbing news to you, in reality, it is quite the opposite. You see, Denver is considered as the weed capital in the USA. With that in mind, it is really no surprise that we decided to celebrate 4/20 in a specific way – making a hot box in our downtown office!

phdKeep in mind that all of us are married, most of us have children and some of us even have Ph.D.’s. So, needless to say, we are not some delinquents or drug addicts… We just love to toke every now and then. If you think we are bad people just because of that, well I got a newsflash for you – you definitely need a toke so you’d relax and start enjoying life more!

That’s all for today folks! Enjoy your weekend!

420 – Blaze It!

420 babyWith 4/20 just a day behind us, I’d like to say a couple of words about this Stoner’s holiday. You see, even though most of you will be rather judgemental after these words that I’m about to write, I guarantee that (if you’re judging us) you’re not nearly as open minded as you’d need to be if you want a successful life.

Cannabis, Marijuana, Weed, Devil’ Lettuce, MJ, That Good Good or whatever you like to call it… is a drug! That stands as the solid truth. It affects our brains and our cognitive abilities which make it a drug. It doesn’t get any simpler. But is it a dangerous drug? Not by a long shot! Weed is not more dangerous than coffee. On the contrary, it is considered to be safer than coffee for people who aren’t tolerant to caffeine.

Another thing that I would like to discuss is the fact that weed is often compared with alcohol. To be completely honest with you guys, I don’t like that comparison. Why? Well, such a comparison is insulting to weed. I mean, come on. You are comparing a mere plant with a substance that kills more than a dozen million of people all around the world on a yearly basis. If that’s not hypocritical then I don’t know what is!

weedWith all that being said, I hope you understand my point of view towards MJ. This all leads to one simple issue that we’ve been receiving a lot in recent months:

We are getting an enormous number of calls from worried parents that urge us to talk to their children. While we do take these sorts of calls seriously, from time to time these parents say that they want us to talk their “kids” (and mind you, in most cases, these are not “kids” but adults over 21) out of smoking weed.

So, for all of you who think of calling and asking this of us, here’s what we’ll do:

We’ll call your “kids” ASAP and give them our address. After that, we’ll point them to the closest Marijuana dispensary and give them advice on what strain to buy. After that, when they come to our office, we’re gonna have such a huge smoking session that they’ll forget they even have parents!

PEACE OUT!

Our Statistics For 2016

statisticsAfter having a couple of non-serious posts in the last couple of days, now we are coming with a rather important (and serious) one. You see, in this article, we will guide you through some of our statistics for the year 2016. Keep in mind that we were relatively unknown for the first 3-4 months (before that interview with The Verge) so our statistics vary greatly in the first and second half of 2016. So, with that being out there on the table, let’s start off with our today’s task!

  • Total calls received
    5228
  • Total successful conversations
    4970
  • Total unsuccessful conversation
    258
  • Total donations received
    27
  • Total donations worth
    $4,250

Okay, that’s a lot of numbers… I planned on explaining them a bit, but as far as I can see all of them are pretty self-explanatory. Actually, there’s just one topic that I’d like to further explain – Total successful/unsuccessful conversations. This is measured by the caller’s satisfaction after the conversation. Ideally, we let our callers rate our service from 1 through 10. 4970 rated 7 and above… while the 258 rated below 6. Fun fact, not a single person out of those 5228 gave 2 as our grade. The more you know!!!

Now let’s see how our statistics vary within the first and second half of 2016:

  • Total calls received
    First half: 1998
    Second half: 3230
  • Total successful conversations
    First half: 1923
    Second half: 3047
  • Total unsuccessful conversation
    First half: 104
    Second half: 154
  • Total donations received
    First half: 9
    Second half: 18
  • Total donations worth
    First half: $1,500
    Second half: $2,750

As you can see, there is a huge increase in all aspects of our business in the second half of 2016. The fascinating numbers are surely the total donations received. As you can see, it’s more than double the amount we had in the first half. Amazing! In the end, I believe there is nothing left to be said except for one huge THANK YOU!

thank youIt’s been a pleasure working with you guys… and I hope the pleasure is the same on the opposite side! Keep calling us and we’ll keep providing you with meaningful advice that could change your perspective on life itself!
